Hampton Inn Statesville

Conveniently located right off the highway with restaurants in walking distance. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast Tara prepared was delicious! I definitely recommend this hotel if you are looking for a place to spend the night. The only thing I wish is that they would add some overnight chargers that guests with EV’s could use.

Great location, quiet, safe, and not too far off of the interstate. Reasonable price. Breakfast was decent. The main reason for the 5 star review is the staff! Everyone that I interacted with was very polite and friendly. Mrs. Betty was above and beyond! Thank you for wonderful service and a great experience.

Hampton Inn Statesville NC was very nice. The staff were very accommodating and very friendly. I especially want to thank Stacy at the front desk for being so nice to us. Breakfast was awesome everything from sausage, eggs, waffles, grits, hot biscuits and gravy, cereal Etc. Very good food. The queen room was also very nice and clean. The 2 ladies at the front desk were very pleasant and accommodating when we checked in. Stacey was there again the next morning when we checked out and again, very pleasant, courteous and couldn't have been any nicer. We appreciated that. Perfect place to stay, very clean and the bed was comfortable. There's an Outback within walking distance next door. Would definitely stay there again!

We were heading to Florida and needed a one nights stay. We have stayed in this Motel before. We did not have a reservation this time but decided to stop anyway. BETTY at the front desk is one of the best associates any company could want. If anyone wants someone to teach people how a front desk customer service employee needs to do their job it is Betty, she is the best. She went all the way to help me with our special needs. Thank you Betty! Now, room is clean, Motel is very nice all around and convenient to many restaurants. Absolutely book your room here when need one at Statesville NC.

Not my favorite Hampton Inn, which I usually find to be clean and well maintained, but not a strikeout either. Room was fine, breakfast was just ok (food not very quick to be refreshed, juice was watery mess at times, dining room slow to be cleaned), the room service was fine as was the front desk staff, but just felt overall like the hotel itself needed a little refresh of the building and facilities, or maybe just a good, deep clean. Signs of wear in the bathroom and shower. Laminate flooring a little scuffed, and just didn't feel as well cleaned or maintained as the better Hampton Inns I've been to. Not terrible, just not as good as I've come to expect. It was also a host hotel for the soccer tournament we were at for the weekend, so they might have been a little overwhelmed and a little understaffed for the event.

This is usually our stopping point while driving to or from Florida. It's part of the Hilton Chain. So I am kind of biased, because Hilton has rarely disappointed me in many years. The staff is always friendly and helpful, the rooms are always clean and the beds are pretty comfortable. Then just walk out the door and there's dining options all within walking distance. Then throw in a complimentary breakfast to get you going the next day. So what's not to like? The price? Did you ever hear the old expression "You get what you pay for" that applies to everything now.
